Dianne Bergmann (teacher primary education) travels to Uganda in November 2015. She will work with GAVA International for at least 3 months. GAVA is a non-profit organization that, among other things, gives provisions to poor families in Kazo.
Dianne will help at a school and/or in a library by teaching children and adults. GAVA offers a wide range of challenges for volunteers, and Dianne will have a great time in Kazo, Kampala. Caroline Van Duuren is watching from the Netherlands, while Dianne will be in good hands of the local GAVA-employees.
It is amazing that TOWANIKA and GAVA are going to work together to help the children and adults in this area.
We hope Dianna has a great time!
As of November, you can follow Dianne here and on our Facebook-page (www.facebook.com/towanika.charity) to see how she’s doing and which experiences she encounters during her stay.
